About this tour
With its stunning scenery, hill- and harbor-hugging towns and its historic ruins, Amalfi is Italy’s coast with the most but at the same time, you can’t miss Positano, an amazing village squished into a ravine, with narrow alleys which requires you to stroll, whether you’re going up or heading down. Ravello is a very precious jewel 1000 feet above the sea and offers an outstanding view over the bay. I’ll be touring you along the divine coast by private car and giving you lots of info on the way. You’ll have plenty of time to explore Positano, the first village you meet along the way, time to shop, enjoy the view and its typical skyline with Saracen inspired rooftop domes. Our second stop will be in Amalfi, the heart of the coast ,where during your free time, you’ll have the unmissable opportunity to visit its main Cathedral, a mix of Moorish and Byzantine flavors or simply stroll around and taste an ice cream. Last but absolutely not the least, is Ravello where you can’t miss Villa Rufolo, beautiful gardens providing a delightful frame for the commanding coastline view where Wagner found the inspiration for the second act of his opera Parsifal. The whole tour departing from Sorrento will take us totally 7/8 hours.
